The technical difficulty this project was challenging and exciting. We chose to approach it by installing the hardwood first, then had the customer choose the layout of the tiles. We then made a template of the layout she wanted, and made the cuts out of the wood. ​

The end result is a wonderful marriage of utility and style. The wood won't be affected by the traffic into the backyard and the client added her own personal touch to her home's design.
